Veracruz

When I was 12, I went to Veracruz for the first time in my life , Veracruz is a City where you can find lots of fun, The city is known for its rich musical traditions, which includies marimba bands, danzón and comparsa.In downtown Veracruz, a large marble-tiled Zocalo called the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Lerdo, is the heart of the city's lively nightlife.
the "Grand Café de la Parroquia" is the most famous coffehouse in Veracruz. Its signature drink is the "lechero" which consists of expresso coffee mixed with steamed milk.
The city has several beaches as well, like Villa del Mar and Mocambo.People in Veracruz are pretty friendly. When I went there for first time, I met some great people and I made friends.

Last year, I went to veracruz with my brother and his wife,we had a great time,we went to dive in "Cancuncito" a part in the middle of the port where the sand banks to let you walk in the water and when the tide is low an island emerges from the sea, it's really cool, and something I didn't believe I could see in Veracruz, was coral reef,Veracruz is a commercial port , so the beaches are not nice, but that "Cancuncito" beach It's ok.The people of Veracruz say it is just like Cancun, not true, but it is nice.

I saw some sea animals, some cool fish, some "Erizos de Mar" Those animals with tons of pointy spikes that hurt a lot, I don't know their name in English.

On july 16 my friends and I arrived at your inn hoping to spend an enjoyable weekend . Unfortunately, because of your poor service, uor weekend was a disaster. Since your and says "have a fabulous time or get your money back, " I am requesting that you refund our money.

From the moment we arrrived, there were problems with the service. First, a very unfrinedly desk clear could´t find our reservation. after waiting almost half an hour, we were led by another unfriendly clerk to aur room, which had a view of a parking lot instead of the bay,had not yet bee cleaned, so we found dirty towels on the beds and cigarette butts in the ashtrays. Despite these problems, none of your employees apologized to us. This was not the weekend we had bee looking forward to.

service at your inn was not always like this. My provious visits were always enjoyable because of the corteous service and clean rooms with beautiful views. Intil things change at your inn, i will never recommend it to anyone.I expect to reveive my refund shortly.

Dear Sir or Madam:

Last weekend my boyfriend and I arrived at your popular cafeteria looking for a very nice time to spent together. The motto in your window reads "where your friends are as special as you are". Unfortunatelly the services that day didn't reflect those words.

As soon as we arrived there we had the chance to sit at a table and we waited for almost half an hour for the waiter to help us. There were not to many people for this to happen but I have to point out that the music was good and this helped us to be patient. However when we were finally service the waiter spilled a cup of coffe on my grand new jacket. It costed me $15 dollars to have it clean.

Mi jacket doesn't look that good anymore. I had never had an experiance such as this anywhere. I hope you can understand my complaint because I want you to refund the money for another new jacket.

Keep stress away!!!

I think The best way to keep stress away is to have a balanced life. That means making good decisions about how to spend your time. If you're only dealing with school stuff and have no time to play, you can get stressed. Make sure you keep yourself in mind: Sleep, Exercise, Leisure (something fun), and food. If you take care of yourself and get enough sleep and food, and if you exercise and leave time for fun stuff, you'll probably be less stressed out.

One day I was taking a walk on the beach and stopped to look at the waves, suddenly I thought I saw something struggling in the water; it looked like a man who was having trouble swimming. Just then I reached for my glasses, and then remembered I’d left them at home, suddenly a big wave came, and the man was gone. At that moment I ran as fates as I could to get the lifeguard. After that we arrived back at the stop where I had seen the man. When the lifeguard looked through his binoculars, he said he didn’t see a thing, at that moment I was pretty embarrassed. The next day I bought the news paper. There was an article about dolphins swimming near the shore. As soon as I read the article. I realize that I had seen a dolphin in the water –not a man! After that I never went anywhere without my glasses again.

Lucy Gomez is the most creative person I know. She started piano lesons when she was only six years old. At school, she was always creating interesting projects in her art class. Whwn she was only 12 years old, she won a citywide poetry contest. Her parents were very proud of her.

Now lucy works as a sitcom writer for a popular TV show. She works with a group of writers, and together they have to think of fresh ideas. They also have to come up with funny dialog for the actors on their show because the actors have to play believable characters that will make the audience laugh. It is not an easy job, but Lucy does it well.

She strats work late in the morning and often works until 7 or 8 at night.Lucy is very curious. She likes to travel and meet new people who have opinions that are different from hers. She often carries a notebook with her and writes down what she sees and hears. Lucy tells me that these new experiences are a good source of ideas for her work. I always enjoy talking to her and am happy to know someone as bright and creative as Lucy.

The reason people turned down Bowerman's idea was that they weren't ready to take risks. It is something that usually happens with innovative ideas.

I think that Smith's business professor gave him a C on the project because an overnight mail delivery service is not too interesting to take it as a businees project or maybe because Smith's project wasn't complete when he Showed it to his proffesor and was some years later that he really finished it and it became in the big and important company that is nowadays "FedEx."

I think that Bowerman's NIKE athletic shoes idea has led to the most imitations.

This is a photo of the Pyramid of The Sun, Teotihuacan, Mexico, 2004. I went to Mexico with some friends,On the 3rd day of our stay in Mexico City, we went for a trip to Teotihuacan, we had a great time!!!

The Pyramid of the Sun is the third largest in the world.wow!!

If you're not afraid of a few stairs (around 250), the views from the top are excellent. Just remember "don't look down" when you're on your way back down!

On the days of the winter and summer solstices, Teotihuacan is packed with folks who dress in white and climb to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun. They stand at the top with arms outstretched to receive the special energy of the site on that day.

I want to write about Mexican Toys , In our country the ancient mesoamericans manufactured toys made of materials like palm of tree, wooden, and bark of fruits, among others. I think toys of more tradition are the yo-yo, the wood furniture, the small box surprise, (which it leaves a wood serpent that prick the hand to you), the skulls of sugar,the top, The baleros cup toy and the lotería,

In Mexico, toymaking continues to be among the most fascinating of the traditional arts...to specify the characteristics which traditional toys share. Qualities which stand out are the simplicity of their manufacture, the ability of the artisan to balance refined techniques with unrefined materials.

Traditional toys are also dintinguished by the harmony of their strong colors, and the variety of their forms.

If young couples in my country want to get married, they usually have a dinner where the families start to socialize and plan the wedding reception.

The boyfriend asks permission for getting married to the girlfriend's parents and he gives to his girlfriend an engagement ring as a showing of love and compromise.

it is usual that the bride and groom's families pay the wedding reception.

GLOBAL WARMING

yesterday, I was reading about global warming, I find some informacion that we should know,because, Global warming has a great effect on human life,For example, with the hot weather we will be having pests which will spread the diseases. In addition, global warming causes ocean to warm up and raise the sea level which kills many people around the world. That’s what happened with a Tsunami when thousands of people died. Also all ice will melt and there will be not ice or place for animals to live in.

Global warming is a very serious issue that we need to thing about. Some people do not understand what global worming mean. we need to do something about global warming,We can contribute with personal actions, like Reducing our use of oil, gasoline,and reducing the amount of electricity used in our homes, also sets an example for others to follow. we can drive less,

we' ll save energy by taking the bus, riding a bike, or walking.

Making energy conservation a part of our daily is essential to the goal of reducing global warming.

Last summer I went to Quiroga Michoacan, It was great, In Quiroga you can admire lots of architectonical highlights of the 17th century, one of it is the baroque style church "Parroquia de San Diego de Alcalá" or the monastery which was founded by the Franciscans order and which is decorated with impressive hand painted porcelain tiles. in this small town houses are traditionally painted white with dark red.

Quiroga offers a great variety of products from Michoacan.I bought some things made of wood,products sold here are produced by local artisans.

Some of the stalls along both sides of the main drag sell simplistic, old-fashioned wooden toys,Other small outdoor stalls offer wooden chairs and stools, and junky little toy guitars and doll houses. There are nice huaraches,some classic styles built upon tire treads and more modern women’s sandals all at good prices, I LOVE QUIROGA because it's not too expensive!!

Animals of all kinds respond to loving care and attention. It can indeed be a joy to see them interact with caring humans who have tamed them.

When people exercise proper dominion over animals, the result can be heartwarming. A beloved animal may be viewed as a treasured companion, even as part of the family.Especially noteworthy is the useful relationship between the blind and their guide dogs.Truly, the rapport between such dogs and their masters is often a pleasure to behold.

Pets benefit the elderly as well,animal pets, including dogs, give purpose and meaning at a time when the elderly often are alienated from society,also Companion animals are associated with lower stress, fewer doctors' visits and even better survival rates after heart attacks.

My childhood

When I was a child my family and I used to visit my grandfather every wednesday.

my grandfather was about 80 years old,when he was living in the rach, I remember that my parents were worried because he was living alone, but, in my opinion my grand father was strong and healthy. he used to do a lot of things.

one day he gave me a surprise, he built a nice little house made of wood to me, I was happy,I spent long hours playing with my sister and my cousin into the house,this is my favorite memorie.

Throughout history, grandparents have been the key to family harmony,I wondered how our society had possibly come to dismiss this powerful, grandparent role.True, our grandparents may have grown up in a world quite different from the one in which we now live,But you can be sure that at one time or another, they have felt the very same feelings that we are struggling with now.in my opinion grandparents can be good listeners and a source of advice and support,No doubt about it, drawing close to your grandparents can enrich your life as well as theirs,While grandparents can offer you their wisdom and love, they can also benefit from your youthful energy and companionship. How so? Well, there are likely a number of ways in which you can be of help and support to your grandparents. Oftentimes, their physical strength is fading. Or they may be battling ill health. No doubt they would be encouraged if you helped them with shopping and household chores.

two years ago my grandfather died, I have got some things that he gave me, maybe these things are nothing to someone,but to me they mean memories of my childhood.
